Rust-dyed Threads Rust-dyeing is fun, if a little tricky for threads. The results are astoundingly permanent and the process is pretty safe and not-bad-for-the-planet Fibres include Cotton, Silk, Linen, Wool, Bamboo and Mixtures in a variety of weights and textures All threads have been hot-washed as part of the dyeing process and are fully ready-to-use. Suitable for hand sewing or machine couching in patchwork, embroidery, or other crafts. These threads are all Hand-dyed with real rusty metal and hand wound by me and each pack is different. Skein lengths vary from around 3 metres for very chunky threads, to 20 metres of fine cotton.
