I used one Oakshott Colour Wrap of eight Fat Eighths in a colour of your choice to make each purse, including the lining and strap

Thin polyester or cotton wadding (batting) or polyester felt 8 by 35 inches (25 by 90 cm)
Sewing machine, or these can be sewn by hand
Thread for piecing and quilting
Optional: Embroidery thread and/or beads or buttons to decorate
Cutter and mat
Quilters' ruler
Finished size approximately 11 by 7-1/2 inches (28 by 19 cm) plus strap
